Megan Lee EthridgeBIO & RESUME

Megan Lee Ethridge knew early on she would be an actress, though it did take a bit of convincing for her parents to allow her to travel into South Philadelphia at the ripe age of fourteen. There she attended The Creative and Performing Arts High School, majoring in theatre and minoring in dance, vocal, and visual arts. After four years of starring in productions like “The Mouse Trap,” New York was the next logical step.

She felt an education was also important and landed in New York at Hunter College. She majored in Psychology while taking theatre classes at Hunter and around the city with teachers like Daniela Varon of Shakespeare and Company. She also performed off-broadway at, Theatre 22, The John Houssemann, and the Theatre Studio. During this time she landed her first supporting lead in an independent called “Microwaved,” and her passion for film developed.

She followed this passion to Los Angeles just few years ago. Since her arrival she has had important roles in several independent films, appearances on Showtime, Lifetime and the E! Channel and lead roles in various stage productions. Her most recent film, “Premonitions” is just finishing post, but she can be seen as the lead in “Alien Abduction “available at video stores across the nation. She was also recently used as the prototype, “Shadow Girl,” for a new video game called “Mojo Master” appearing in advertisements in magazines like FHM.
